Every student deserves to feel safe and supported at school—because safety is the foundation for learning. For LGBTQ+ youth, GSAs and supportive relationships provide a critical lifeline, fostering connection, belonging, and protection in environments where they often face higher risks of harassment, isolation, and mental health challenges. Ensuring safety isn’t just important—it’s essential for every other aspect of their well-being and success.
Ensuring this foundation of safety and belonging is the heart of the Spectrum Project’s mission.
