A space all your own

You probably like things simple, huh? That’s why we built an entire section (a cheat-sheet section, if you will) with quick-access to all our best resources for teenagers.

Go ahead, dive in…

  • If you are struggling, support is available. Talk to a trusted friend, find a supportive adult, or call any of these 24/7 support lines:

Nevada County Crisis Line and Mobile Crisis Team (they come to you) 530-265-5811

    Placer County Crisis Line 916-787-8860

CA Youth Teen Line: CALL 310-855-4673/Text TEEN to 839863

Trevor Project Crisis Line – LGBTQ Youth: 1-866-488-7386 or Text 678-678

    Trans Lifeline 1-877-565-8860

  • You can learn more about local support groups HERE

  • Talk to them. Have a direct but caring conversation. Ask them how they are. Tell them that you care. Help them to get support from a supportive adult. Look at our Resources page and see what resource might be supportive for them. Call your local Crisis Line (530-265-5811-Nevada County 916-787-8860-Placer County ). Ask the crisis line support person to help you figure out what to say or do next. If you think your friend is in immediate risk, call 911 now or your local crisis line.
